May 19 was the one year marking of my Father’s passing.
Here he is young and handsome, serving his country in the Army.
I remember these days! Playing on the floor with Girl Cousins Lynn and Kay!
I don’t know what this is from, but it has always been one of my favorites. I had it in a frame for many years.
We gathered in the town where he lived. His granddaughter Leslie had a great idea and was the planner. She is the smiling gal at the top, and Medium Goomba is on her left.. On the bottom is his daughter in law Karen, me, my brother Beeve and Dad’s son in law Mark.
This is what happens when your phone leaves your hand, it gets attached to your selfie stick and comes back with many pictures you have no knowledge of!
Grandson Michael, son Beeve, Goomba, grandson Eric and granddaughter Leslie!
Awww, I know those guys!!!! The Ab-Cat, Goomba, Beeve, Mousey and The Good Eater!
Dad’s wife Marilyn, son Beeve, daughter me, and son Mark.
Nana getting loves from the grands.
The Good Eater got a new camera and it is pretty fine! This was the best picture of the night!
Not everyone was able to attend, but there was enough family and love to properly remember Dennis/Dad/Papa!
Our death is not an end if we can live on in our children and the younger generation. For they are us, our bodies are only wilted leaves on the tree of life. ~Albert Einstein
His stone of remembrance near the Livonia Police Station.
