I know, this is a couple weeks late, but better late than never. Bring on the Fathers Day!
Was happy to celebrate this guy! Beeve, Stacey and Goomba joined us for lunch on the patio. My Uncle Bob and Aunt Phyllis were supposed to join us but he came down with a terrible cold and they had to stay home, with the Italian creme cake she made for the occasion 😦
A rose between two thorns?
This picture generated a lot of conversation between us and Bob and Phyllis. Because of The Sickness, they remained at home with the dessert, so I made one of our family favorites, a Mrs. Davis’ coconut pound cake.
I sent the above picture to them with a couple others, so they did not feel so left out. Bob focused his laser like attention on the cake in the foreground. He asked if that was what he thought it was, I replied it was! As I have mentioned before, he can just even up an unbalanced cake like nobody’s business. He said he would “square that off immediately”!
Sy insisted on joining us, even though he spent most of the time tangled up.
Honey and his Girls.
This young rascal is sporting a new expander on the roof of his mouth, causing his teeth to part in the middle!! Ahhhh, we remember that look!!!!
Appears to be proud of that part!
There’s a good one with his Mama!
Happy Fathers Day to my favorite guy!
Mousey recorded her favorite memory on the Snapchat. A very natural pose.
We used the selfie stick to capture the whole crew!!!
It was a good day.
